Clueless has to be my favorite fashion movie of all time! Clueless's came out in 1995 and was directed by Amy Heckerling. The movie is loosely based off the book Emma by Jane Austin. Clueless was a movie that started many fashion trends that still are popular to this day. Mona May was the costume designer for the movie. At the time most high schoolers dressed mostly in grunge clothing. So Clueless didn't take inspiration from fashion trends that were currently popular. Instead Mona May created the movies style from her own style and European runway shows. Here is how you can bring Clueless's fashion to your wardrobe:
